Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 19, 2026
TheSecurityLane LLC ("TheSecurityLane," "we," "us") provides cybersecurity career coaching, training, and related digital products through thesecuritylane.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to nlane@thesecuritylane.com.
Information we collect
- Contact information you provide — your name and email address when you download the free Cybersecurity Career Quick-Start Guide, book a session, or contact us directly.
- Scheduling information — when you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects what's needed to schedule and confirm the appointment (name, email, time zone, and any details you enter in the booking form).
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers; Stripe handles that data under its own privacy and security practices.
- Website usage data — standard usage data such as pages visited, time on site, referring site, and device/browser type, collected through cookies and similar technologies (Google Analytics and/or Meta Pixel, where installed).
How we use your information
- To deliver the free guide, coaching sessions, and any digital products you purchase
- To communicate with you about your program, including scheduling and follow-up
- To send occasional emails about TheSecurityLane coaching and resources, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business: MailerLite (email delivery), Calendly (scheduling), Stripe (payment processing), and analytics providers (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) once installed. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and security practices.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site function and, where installed, analytics and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your rights (California residents)
If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of that information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact nlane@thesecuritylane.com.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and tax obligations, and delete or anonymize it when it's no longer needed.

This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
